Hostlistic is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, payment details), information generated by your use of the platform (events created, tickets purchased, session attendance), and technical data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookies). When you sign in with Google, we receive your public profile information from Google.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to: provide and improve our services; process payments and send receipts; send event-related notifications; generate AI-assisted content on your behalf (using only data you have provided to the platform); send marketing communications (with your consent); and comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with: payment processors (to complete transactions); email service providers (to deliver communications); analytics providers; and as required by law. Organizers can see the name and email of attendees who purchase tickets to their events.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we retain anonymized data for analytics purposes and transaction records for 7 years to comply with financial regulations.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also object to or restrict processing, and request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@hostlistic.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for data in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Third-Party Links
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
8. Children's Privacy
Hostlistic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or platform notification. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
